Q: Why did you join Women in Digital?
A: To find a place to share information, exchange ideas, learn, find guidance, give and receive support.
Q: What’s your specialty? What makes you tick?
A: My personal specialty is knitting. My work specialty is creating engaging experiences.
Q: What was your first job out of college?
A: I was a customer support rep at a bank that issues student loans.
Q: What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A: Feedback is like a gift. You thank the giver, then take it home, and depending on if you like the gift or not, you store in the closet or you display it on the coffee table.
Q: What can you give your fellow members of Women in Digital?
A: Speak your truth.
Q: What will be your first ask?
A: Can I have coffee with (fill in any name).
Q: What does digital mean to you?
A: Creative, innovative, savvy, edgy experiences that represent your brand.
Q: What do you think is the greatest challenge facing women today?
A: Finding a good bra? Kiddin’ (well kind of). To be who you are, to be proud of it, and to share that you with the rest of the world, without apologies or excuses.
Q: What do you think we can do to overcome that challenge?
A: Lots of therapy? Nah, we need to raise girls that way. These things are so engrained in us and it is really hard to overcome them as adults.
Q: Why do you love digital?
A: So many elements to it – graphics, videos, text – you can be as creative as you want to be.
