Q: Why did you join Women in Digital?
A: I love the idea of a digital sisterhood. I wish I’d had a group like this early in my career and I’m happy to use the large network I’ve built to help others grow their careers.
Q: What’s your specialty? What makes you tick?
A: I’m a servant leader. I’m motivated by helping other do their best work and strive to have everyone’s day go a bit better for having dealt with me.
Q: What was your first job out of college?
A: I started in catalog marketing at Dell.
Q: What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?
A: Don’t polish silverware on the titanic.
Q: What can you give your fellow members of Women in Digital?
A: I have a large network – especially in Austin, and a lot of experience navigating life changes like death, illness, family challenges and more.
Q: What will be your first ask?
A: My first ask was for support for Austin Bat Cave, a non-profit I support.
Q: What does digital mean to you?
A: Digital to me includes new media, websites, social media, interactive design – anything with a screen.
Q: What do you think is the greatest challenge facing women today?
A: Equality of pay and opportunity.
Q: What do you think we can do to overcome that challenge?
A: Demand nothing less.

A: Digital is at the center of how most people connect with the world.
